Weekend Puzzle

Hello guys,

So, some of your blogs are coming along nicely. I haven't put anything on here for you to look at for a while so I thought I'd better post something.

Ok, this is a puzzle with several parts. If you get it right, you will be able to find a wonderful prize.

Part 1 - Complete the crossword puzzle.
Part 2 - Unscramble the anagrams. Ok...Sorry... this won't work because I messed up. The yelow job is 'policeman' somehow I made a mess of colouring the squares on the crossword.
Part 3 - Put the yellow job into google.co.uk and open the second link.
Part 4 - In the first post there is a link to Johnno's site, open it.
Part 5 - Open Johnno's Black Book
Part 6 - How old is Johnno? Save that information because it will be the start of next week's puzzle.
Good luck.

Web Challenge!!!

Hi guys,

I have a challenge for you!!! Here are some websites that I think are pretty cool. they come under three categories:

1. Good for your English
2. Fun
3. Interesting

I challenge any of you to find sites that are better in any of these three disciplines!
If any of you can beat my sites, I promise I will be humble for a week and address you as: 'Dear Lord or Lady of the Internet whose knowledge of all things web wise far exceeds mine' from then until I find a better site than yours.

Modals exercises

Hi guys,

I told you in class today that there would be a link to the site I stole the exercises from . It seems like a pretty good site for grammar exercises. If you had problems, check it out.

Well done Super Teens!

After a nice long weekend, I came back to school and excitedly logged on to see what you guys had come up with for your first blog assignment. Well, I have to admit I was a little disappointed if not surprised that only one group had managed to post anything at all. Naked Cupid and Christian Merriny are currently languishing in no man's land having not even set up their blogs and after an initial flurry of activity, Franny Wiwi and Moonfangs seem to have given up. Super Teens managed to produce something but I have the feeling it was the work of one of seven, leaving six little darlings, glowing in the reflected light of someone else's achievement.

Now, I don't want to suggest that you guys are lazy,... I understand that it was Nyepi and you were all probably fasting and meditating and observing Amati Karya so were obliged not to work ... oh, hang on,... you guys aren't Hindus, are you?

Other news, good news Loris! I checked on wikipedia and found this:

"Slow lorises are happenstance carnivores, typically eating insects, bird eggs and small vertebrates. With their slow quiet movements, they creep to their prey, in order to then catch it with a lightning-quick snatch." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_loris

I also found a picture for you. If you can control your childish reactions to the double-entendre, then the rest of the information is quite good. Did you know that they live here?

He's a funny looking little fellow, isn't he.

Alright guys, I'll keep my fingers crossed and hopefully will see some results from you soon.

First Blog Assignment

Finish the story!!!

This is Phil.

Phil has skills.

He is good with computers, speaks four languages, knows some martial arts, and has been trained to use all kinds of weapons.
He works for a company with no name.
The details of his background are not well known. It is enough to say that he is self sufficient and has no dependents. As far as anyone knows, he has no living family.
His company recently employed him to gather information on Medan. He has put together a list of all of the richest companies and individuals and their assets.
His company is particularly interested in the jewelry shops in Sun Plaza.

Last week he was given a special assignment: find the richest jewelry shop in the mall and speak to the staff to try to find out about the security of the merchandise.

He went to the mall early and sat in Starbucks reading the newspaper and drinking a cappuccino...
